Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.? And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Soon we will celebrate the greatest miracle ever known to man – the virgin birth of the Son of God!? John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God sent His Son, Jesus, to the born a baby in?the manger so that He could?be “God in flesh” and ultimately die on the cross and pay for our sins. ?What great love the Father had for us!? What great love the Son had in accepting and obeying the plan of the Father!

Christmas is the story of God redeeming man from sin and failure?and preparing a place called Heaven where we will spend eternity with Him.? There will be no more death, pain, sorrow or sickness. We will be with Him in indescribable joy and peace forever!

This is all available to us as a gift from God!? Jesus was the greatest “Christmas Gift” ever given.

Romans 10:9 says “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”? That means you are saved from sin and saved to eternal life!

This Christmas let’s remember the “Reason for the Season.”? In the midst of all of our other activities let’s remember that “For God loved the world that he gave us his one and only Son.”
